The life expectancy of the DI resin is based on the TDS level of the RO water going into it. The RO will
remove 95% of the TDS from the feed water.
Example: The feed water supply from a garden hose at your job site has a TDS of 300 ppm. The RO will
remove 95%, so the water going into the DI resin cartridge will be at 15 ppm. (5% of 300 ppm)
Set up instructions:
1. Try and stand the filter close to your mains water tap then connect a length of hose from the mains tap on to the filter connector marked IN on the top of the filter then connect your main long length hosepipe / reel to the fitting marked OUT on the top of the filter and away you go.
1. Wash your vehicle in the normal way using warm soapy water applied with a sponge or wash mitt. Rinse the soapy water away using normal tap water directly from your hose. Keep the rinsed areas wet while you complete the whole vehicle.
Please Note: Do not allow the vehicle to dry before you rinse a second time using treated water through the filter.
2. Rinse the whole vehicle a second time using the filtered water from the top of the car downwards.
3. Stand back and allow to air dry naturally for a spot free result.
Do not use in conjunction with a pressure washer
Use water from the filter sparingly as this will make the resin last much longer than running it all the way through the full wash process.
Only use enough filtered water for final rinse off of all surfaces
Keep using the filter resin until you are no longer satisfied with the results, then just replace the resin inside the filter when no longer giving the desired results.
We recommend that a final rinse is performed at half mains pressure so the resin will last much longer than on full mains pressure through the filter.
